Back to my roots…

Funny how a street sign can bring you back to the beginning of a story. 🤍

Long before Styled In Worth became a color analysis and personal styling business, it was a Christian blog I started in my late 20s during a season when I was struggling with my own worthiness.

I was in between relationships, in between jobs, and if I'm honest, I didn't feel particularly deserving of love. But I knew I loved Jesus. And I loved style. I was the microest of micro-influencers 🤣 sharing outfit links, talking about clothes, and finding any excuse to share something I loved.

I wanted women to feel beautiful, too, and I wanted them to know their worth.

So I gave that little corner of the internet a name: Styled In Worth.

I had no idea then what it would become.

Today, I get to help women discover their colors, dress their bodies, and feel more at home in the way they show up in the world. And I genuinely LOVE what I do. But over the years, the meaning behind this name has deepened for me.

What I’ve realized is I can help a woman see her beauty. But I cannot give her her worth.

Because her worth was never mine to create. Only something my work can honor.
That's a distinction that matters so, so much to me.

My worth, and the worth of every woman who walks through my door, comes from something far greater than anything I could offer. For me, that truth is rooted in Jesus. He is worthy, and my worth is found in Him. My love for the Lord isn't a new discovery or a new direction for my business. It's the foundation I've been standing on all along. What's changing is my willingness to let people see it.

My work may begin with the outward, but the love behind it comes from somewhere much deeper.

I want women to know their colors, honor their natural beauty, and quiet the noise of a closet that makes getting dressed harder than it needs to be. NOT because the right clothes make them more worthy, but because there's freedom in knowing yourself and spending less time trying to become someone you're not.

Your energy was made for more than a noisy closet.

And whether or not you share my faith, you. are. welcome. here. You’ll never be expected to believe what I believe to be cared for and celebrated by me. But I also don't want to hide the source of the love I bring to this work.

Looking at this sign, I think about the woman who started that little blog, the woman I've become, and how much the meaning of worth has deepened in my own heart.

The name has stayed the same. The heart behind it has only grown deeper.

I'm going to continue sharing the colors, the clothes, the links, and all the things I love. That's part of who I am, too. I just want you to know a little more about the why behind it all.

And I'm really glad you're here. 🤍

Victoria
